{"id":108795,"date":"2025-10-28T17:35:12","date_gmt":"2025-10-28T17:35:12","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ie\/108795\/"},"modified":"2025-10-28T17:35:12","modified_gmt":"2025-10-28T17:35:12","slug":"alert-motorists-warned-of-four-day-road-closure-to-facilitate-new-housing-development","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ie\/108795\/","title":{"rendered":"ALERT: Motorists warned of four day road closure to facilitate new housing development"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Motorists in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.limerickleader.ie\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">Broadford<\/a> are advised of upcoming four day road closures next week to allow for essential works linked to a new housing development in the area.<\/p>\n<p>Limerick City and County Council has confirmed that Cluain Dara (L-7019-329) in Broadford will be closed to traffic from Tuesday, October 28 to Friday, October 31, 2025.<\/p>\n<p>The closure is required to facilitate a wastewater connection to the new housing scheme currently under development in the village.<\/p>\n<p>During the works, diversions will be in place via the R515 Main Street, Broadford, connecting to the L-7017 and L-7018 routes through Farrihy.
