The funeral details have been announced for 20-year-old Carrickmacross student Conor Harrington.<\/p>\n
His body was\u00a0discovered off the coast of Ballyvaughan in County Clare.
The Marine Rescue Co-Ordination Centre on Valentia Island in Kerry alerted Doolin Coast Guard on Sunday morning following reports of a body on the shoreline near Gleninagh Castle.<\/p>\n
Conor’s family told Northern Sound that they “couldn’t have been prouder” of the 20-year-old who was a second year law student at the University of Galway.<\/p>\n
His father John spoke of his “giving nature” stating that anyone who knew Conor, knew that he always loved to put others first, whether that was friends, family or giving to charity.<\/p>\n
A touching tribute posted online by his family after a search was carried out to locate Conor stated: \u201cOur hearts are heavy as we share the arrangements to honour and lay to rest our beloved Conor Harrington.<\/p>\n
\u201cConor\u2019s Funeral Mass will take place at 2:00 pm on Saturday, 1st November, in St Joseph\u2019s Church, Carrickmacross, with burial afterwards in St Joseph\u2019s Cemetery.<\/p>\n
\u201cConor will rest privately on Friday evening for family and close friends to say their goodbyes.<\/p>\n
