Ryan Gravenberch<\/a> will be back in the squad for Liverpool\u2019s clash with Aston Villa<\/a>, but Arne Slot<\/a> had a less positive update on Alexander Isak<\/a> and Curtis Jones<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Gravenberch has been absent since picking up an ankle injury in the 2-1 defeat to Man United<\/a>, missing the last three fixtures.<\/p>\n

But the Dutchman has since returned to training and is therefore eligible for the visit of Villa on Saturday night, which is a major boost for Liverpool.<\/p>\n

Speaking in his pre-match press conference however, Slot said he was \u201c99.9 percent sure\u201d both Isak and Jones will not be involved.<\/p>\n

\u201cRyan trained with us yesterday, the other two didn\u2019t yet,\u201d he revealed.<\/p>\n

\u201cAs I said many times, in the end phase of the injury things can slow down a bit or things can go faster. Let\u2019s wait and see where they are.<\/p>\n

\u201cRyan trained with us first time yesterday and will train with us today. Then we\u2019re going to make the call if he is able to start, yes or no.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe other two are probably 99.9 percent sure not in the squad for Saturday.\u201d<\/p>\n

Liverpool will also be without Alisson<\/a> as he continues his recovery from a hamstring injury, but the Brazilian shared an encouraging update earlier in the week<\/a> after returning to outdoor work at the AXA Training Centre.<\/p>\n

Jeremie Frimpong<\/a> is also sidelined with a hamstring issue \u2013 his second of the season \u2013 with the right-back now not expected back<\/a> until early December.<\/p>\n
