Morgan Freeman broke down<\/a> the technique of how he became the late Diane Keaton\u2019s favorite on-screen kiss while visiting \u201cJimmy Kimmel Live!\u201d on Thursday.<\/p>\n

Freeman admitted that he hadn\u2019t known about Keaton\u2019s praise of his kissing abilities, but didn\u2019t seem all that surprised either. He co-starred with Keaton in the 2014 film \u201cFive Flights Up,\u201d and on Kimmel\u2019s insistence, shared his method. <\/p>\n

\u201cDiane Keaton said that you had a kissing scene,\u201d Kimmel began, reading a quote from the actress. \u201cShe said, \u2018His lips were just luscious. You just push your lips up against them and you squeezed in and it felt gooey and good. I like that.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n

That\u2019s when Freeman explained his strategy for how to be a good kisser. <\/p>\n

\u201cWell, there were two ways to kiss,\u201d Freeman began.<\/p>\n

\u201cPlease, teach me,\u201d Kimmel chimed in.<\/p>\n

\u201cPucker, or don\u2019t,\u201d Freeman continued. \u201cUnderstand, if you pucker, then you got kind of tight things going on. But if you don\u2019t, then your lips are naturally soft.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cAnd that\u2019s what makes them so gooey and good?\u201d Kimmel asked.<\/p>\n

\u201cMust be,\u201d Freeman responded.<\/p>\n

Freeman went on to say that he hasn\u2019t had that many on-screen kisses to know if other stars have given him the same compliment. But then Kimmel mentioned Freeman\u2019s \u201cThe Shawshank Redemption\u201d co-star Tim Robbins.<\/p>\n

\u201cTim Robbins, perhaps?\u201d Kimmel inquired, jokingly nodding to the two\u2019s on-screen friendship.<\/p>\n

\u201cWell \u2026,\u201d Freeman teased, laughing.<\/p>\n

Afterward, Kimmel said he was \u201cimpressed\u201d by Keaton\u2019s compliment, adding that she\u2019s kissed a lot of people on screen, including himself. <\/p>\n

\u201cShe kissed me here on this show, and I guess I was way behind you. I don\u2019t know,\u201d Kimmel said. \u201cYou know what I feel like? I puckered.\u201d<\/p>\n
