\n\tDaisy Fuentes<\/a> is sharing her thoughts on MTV<\/a> amid the major changes taking place at the network following the acquisition of Paramount Global by Skydance.<\/p>\n

\n\tIn a recent interview, the former VJ responded to news that MTV would be ending some of its international music channels at the end of 2025.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cI thought, while it\u2019s a bit sad, it\u2019s been a bit sad for a while. I think MTV had its time and history that time will never repeat, and it\u2019s time to change,\u201d Fuentes told People<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cWe all change. We have to evolve. And I hope that there\u2019s another version of them, just like there\u2019s another version of us, us who were part of that we\u2019re no longer the same. Why should we expect them to be? The world has changed so much,\u201d she continued. \u201cI\u2019m curious to see its evolution. It could be great. I think change is good. I think it\u2019s time. It will always be part of our youth.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tNot only is MTV ending some of its international music channels, which played music videos around the clock, but the main network is also canceling some of its long-running programming. Although it was a long time ago when MTV played actual music videos, its programming in recent years had been reruns of the clip show Ridiculousness. MTV was heavily trolled for its round-the-clock programming of the long-running series. On Friday, October 31, sources told Deadline the show was ending its run after 14 years<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\n\tIn September, it was also reported that MTV had canceled Catfish: The TV Show after 9 seasons<\/a> on the air.<\/p>\n
