{"id":118144,"date":"2025-11-02T19:36:14","date_gmt":"2025-11-02T19:36:14","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ie\/118144\/"},"modified":"2025-11-02T19:36:14","modified_gmt":"2025-11-02T19:36:14","slug":"local-church-of-ireland-parishes-thanked-for-supporting-derrybeg-church-rebuild","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ie\/118144\/","title":{"rendered":"Local Church of Ireland parishes thanked for supporting Derrybeg church rebuild"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The parish of Gaoth Dobhair has extended its thanks to neighbouring Church of Ireland parishes for supporting the rebuild of St Mary\u2019s Church, Derrybeg.<\/p>\n<p>St Mary\u2019s Church, which serves the parish of Gaoth Dobhair, was destroyed after a fire broke out in the early hours of Easter Monday in April this year.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe would like to extend our sincere thanks to the local Church of Ireland parishes of Bunbeg, Dungloe, and Carrickfinn, who so kindly supported the St. Mary\u2019s Rebuild Fund at their recent Harvest Thanksgiving,\u201d shared Par\u00f3iste Ghaoth Dobhair. \u201cYour generosity and friendship mean so much to us, and we are truly grateful for your solidarity and kindness.
