That process begins with its earnings after the bell on Tuesday.<\/p>\n<p class=\"ArticleBodyText_articleBodyContent__17wqE typography_articleBody__3UcBa\" data-component=\"paragraph\">AMD shares soared 58% in October, their strongest monthly performance since January 2001, making them by far the best performer in the S&amp;P 500 Index last month. The move was spurred by the company\u2019s deal with OpenAI that could generate tens of billions of dollars in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bloomberg.com\/news\/articles\/2025-10-06\/openai-signs-amd-chips-deal-worth-tens-of-billions-of-dollars\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\" class=\"media-ui-Link_link-tVkXhPLPofs-\" data-component=\"link\">new revenue<\/a> for the chipmaker.
