Dancing With the Stars<\/a> fans are furious over the show\u2019s latest elimination, sharing that Danielle Fishel \u201cdeserved better,\u201d<\/a> as many felt her departure was a harsh blow after she opened up and got emotional about her battle with cancer.<\/p>\n

Fishel became the seventh celebrity cut from the ABC<\/a> competition show after its Rock and Roll Hall of Fame night, scoring 34 points for her contemporary routine and earning a perfect score in her team dance.<\/p>\n

Her elimination came after the judges received major backlash for seemingly having a \u201cpersonal vendetta\u201d against her<\/a> all season, leaving some fans furious over the result.<\/p>\n

However, others were also devastated about the cut because Fishel, 44, broke down for the first time over her 2024 breast cancer diagnosis.<\/p>\n

Fishel addressed it in her rehearsal footage package, as she and her partner, Pasha Pashkov, discussed their song for the night, which was “Dream On” by Aerosmith.<\/p>\n

She was diagnosed with ductal carcinoma in situ (DCIS) in 2024.<\/p>\n

The type of breast cancer is a noninvasive, stage-zero cancer that is trapped inside the milk ducts of the breast.<\/p>\n

Fishel underwent two surgeries and 20 rounds of radiation before receiving a clear mammogram confirming the cancer was gone.<\/p>\n

Though her time on the competition has come to an end, Fishel is expected to return for the show\u2019s finale on Nov. 25.<\/p>\n
