She may not have made it to the very last moments<\/a> of The Celebrity Traitors, but Cat Burns is ending the week with some extremely good news. The 25-year-old is best known as a singer-songwriter, and it seems fans have been lapping up her latest output since its release last week.<\/p>\n

On Halloween, she released her second album ‘How To Be Human’ \u2013 and today, it’s unlocked a new career-high for her in the UK charts.<\/p>\n

According to the Official Charts Company<\/a>, the album has debuted at No5, which marks a new personal best.<\/p>\n

The star’s previous record, 2024’s ‘Early Twenties’, made it as far as No7; meaning this is the first time she has graced the Top 5.<\/p>\n

Making a cheeky nod to The Celebrity Traitors, she said: “My album ‘How To Be Human’ has been, and has always been from the start, a Top 10 album!

‘How To Be Human’ was outperformed only by Florence and the Machine’s ‘Everybody Scream’ at No1, Lily Allen’s ‘West End Girl’ at No2, Taylor Swift’s ‘The Life of a Showgirl’ at No3 and Olivia Dean’s ‘The Art of Loving at No4’.<\/p>\n

It’s also been revealed as the most downloaded release of the week, shooting to No1 on the Official Album Downloads Chart.<\/p>\n

Cat became a viral sensation in 2020 when her song ‘Go’ catapulted to No2 over on the UK Singles Chart, and now she has won a whole load of new admirers<\/a> following the nail-biting BBC One series.<\/p>\n

She made it all the way to last night’s final episode alongside fellow Traitor Alan Carr, but was voted out at the final hurdle.<\/p>\n

Her team still won, though, as Carr went on to secure victory in a tense denouement that electrified the nation<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Today it has been confirmed that the episode achieved an astonishing average of 11.1 million viewers, peaking above 12 million \u2013 making it the most-viewed episode in the whole franchise in the UK, and the most-watched episode of TV so far this year. iPlayer data is yet to be added, and will inevitably nudge the numbers up even higher.<\/p>\n

The civilian series returns for its fourth outing in the New Year, and a first teaser has already been released<\/a>.<\/p>\n
