Cork attacker Jaden Umeh hailed Ireland’s resilience after Colin O’Brien’s youngsters sealed a last 32 place at the U17 World Cup in Qatar with a come-from-behind 2-1 win over Uzbekistan.<\/p>\n
The Asian champions, winners over Paraguay in their opening game, took the lead when Abubakir Shukurullaev volleyed in a rebound after 20 minutes after Alex Noonan had saved.<\/p>\n
Ireland levelled on 33 minutes when Grady McDonnell headed in powerfully from Ade Solanke’s cross.<\/p>\n
