Jeremy Renner Addresses Yi Zhou Misconduct Allegations<\/p>\n
Jeremy Renner<\/a> is responding to allegations made against him by filmmaker Yi Zhou.<\/p>\n Earlier this week, Yi made (and, seemingly, continues to make) a series of Instagram posts<\/a> alleging various behavior on Jeremy’s part, including him sending \u201cpersonal and intimate photographs of himself\u201d to her. Yi also claims that, when she confronted him about the alleged behavior, he “threatened to call immigration\/ICE” on her. You can read a rundown of the allegations here<\/a> and here<\/a>.<\/p>\n \u201cThis experience really shows the dark side of Hollywood and the smear campaign to deter women and Asian female filmmakers and women in general,\u201d Zhou wrote in one of the posts. \u201cI\u2019m appalled but happy to read also many support from friends and media that will continue to uncover domestic abuse, abuse of women and the unwanted unsolicited porn attack against innocent young women.\u201d<\/p>\n In response, Jeremy’s team has given several statements to separate publications. In a statement to Variety<\/a>, the actor’s rep says that \u201cThe allegations being made are totally inaccurate and untrue.\u201d<\/p>\n
