Although school is out for the summer at Nevermore, one member of the Addams family is getting ready for some independent study.<\/p>\n
Following Season 2 of Netflix<\/a>\u2018s Wednesday<\/a>, Fred Armisen<\/a> recently confirmed that the spin-off featuring his quirky portrayal of Uncle Fester is still in the works after Deadline announced the project<\/a> back in December 2023.<\/p>\n More from Deadline<\/p>\n \u201cYeah, we\u2019re working on it,\u201d said Armisen on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon<\/a>. \u201cIt\u2019s fantastic\u2026 It\u2019s amazing.\u201d<\/p>\n After the Addams Family offshoot\u2019s first season in 2022, Deadline reported that Netflix was working on a spin-off<\/a> of Wednesday, which was in early development at the streamer from MGM Television.<\/p>\n Armisen guest starred in Wednesday\u2018s first two seasons as Uncle Fester, brother of Wednesday\u2019s (Jenna Ortega) father Gomez Addams (Luis Guzman), who has the ability to generate electricity.<\/p>\n The 15x Emmy nominee previously told Deadline he feels \u201cno pressure<\/a>\u201d to keep the comedic moments coming on Wednesday, amid the show\u2019s more horror elements, but stopped short of revealing anything about his spin-off.<\/p>\n \u201cIt\u2019s so fun to do. It feels very organic,\u201d said Armisen. \u201cThat\u2019s all I can really say about it as far as the anticipation of it all.
