Media personality and businesswoman Anitah Fabiola has disclosed the emotional battle with postpartum depression and anxiety following the birth of her twins with husband Mark Mubiru in June.<\/p>\n

Fabiola revealed that despite being a meticulous planner who had prepared extensively for motherhood, nothing could have prepared her for the mental and emotional challenges that came with welcoming her babies.<\/p>\n

I had made my research and read everything there\u2019s to read about postpartum. I put systems in place before I went to give birth and I actually even had plenty of help, but still, postpartum depression hit me. <\/p>\n

Fabiola explained that her recovery journey was long, painful, and emotionally draining, as she constantly battled guilt, fear, and anxiety about her new responsibilities as a mother.<\/p>\n

I felt postpartum depression slowly creep up on me and I didn\u2019t even know what to do to stop it. I had so much pain, the anxiety, and the weight of this whole new world in the beginning was really a lot. <\/p>\n
