Police have released a photo after a woman was racially abused and assaulted while with her family in central London last month.<\/p>\n
The victim was entering Bond Street Tube station with her sister and two young children, one of whom was in a pushchair.<\/p>\n
British Transport Police (BTP) said the man and woman pictured in the image were walking in front of the family when the woman “collided with the pushchair”.<\/p>\n
The man then allegedly shouted racial abuse at the victim and her family and the woman grabbed her hair.<\/p>\n
When she tried to defend herself, BTP said the man pulled out a small bottle he claimed was pepper spray and sprayed it in the direction of the victim and her family.<\/p>\n
“The woman shouted abuse and made lewd gestures at them before both parties left the area,” the force added.<\/p>\n
Police said the incident happened around 7.30pm on Saturday 11 October.<\/p>\n
