The Recording Academy announced the full list of nominations for the 68th Annual Grammy Awards<\/a> last week, and Boone was notably not included in any categories after earning a nod for Best New Artist at last year’s ceremony.<\/p>\n On Monday, Nov. 10, the “Beautiful Things” singer reacted to his lack of nominations in a post shared to his Instagram Stories.<\/p>\n Benson Boone\/Instagram<\/p>\n Benson Boone<\/p>\n “Can’t believe moonbeam ice cream didn’t get a Grammy nom,” wrote Boone alongside a selfie, referencing the viral lyric from the song “Mystical Magical” off his American Heart album.<\/p>\n “it’s literally pure lyrical genius,” added the star.<\/p>\n Never miss a story \u2014 sign up for PEOPLE’s free daily newsletter<\/a> to stay up-to-date on the best of what PEOPLE has to offer\u200b\u200b, from celebrity news to compelling human interest stories.<\/p>\n The 2026 Grammy nominations saw Kendrick Lamar<\/a>\u00a0score the most, followed by Lady Gaga<\/a>\u00a0and producers Cirkut and\u00a0Jack Antonoff<\/a>. Other top nominees include Bad Bunny<\/a>, Leon Thomas and\u00a0Sabrina Carpenter<\/a>.<\/p>\n Boone earned a Best New Artist nomination at last year’s ceremony, where he performed his No. 1 hit “Beautiful Things” \u2014 with Heidi Klum<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0Nikki Glaser<\/a> notably helping him strip down into a sheer, skin-tight outfit.<\/p>\n The musician is currently on his American Heart Tour, which continues through December. “This tour is vastly different than anything I have ever done before,” he told PEOPLE<\/a> in August.<\/p>\n Johnny Nunez\/Getty <\/p>\n Benson Boone in February 2025<\/p>\n American Heart was released in June and hit No. 2 on the Billboard 200 albums chart.<\/p>\n The project came after a blockbuster year for Boone \u2014\u00a0including the 2025 Grammys. “I met so many new people that I look up to and that I think are so incredible,” he said of the awards show. “I feel like that’s the first time a lot of people saw me.”<\/p>\n He added at the time, “I know a lot of people have heard ‘Beautiful Things,’ and I think most of the people that have heard it do not connect the dots between Benson Boone and ‘Beautiful Things,’ and I think that performance helped with that.”<\/p>\n![\"Benson](\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ie\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/c65cc5272779eb1a335bd099d2658240.jpeg\"\/)
