\n\tBTS<\/a>\u2018 comeback is about to be dynamite. According to RM<\/a>, who gave fans an update on the band\u2019s fast-approaching comeback<\/a>, he and bandmates Jin, SUGA, j-hope, Jimin, V and Jung Kook have been hard at work on new music \u2014 and their diligence is apparently paying off.<\/p>\n

\n\tIn a post to Weverse<\/a> shared Tuesday (Nov. 11), the band leader wrote that \u201cabove all,\u201d the music the septet is recording is \u201ccoming out really well!!\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cEveryone\u2019s trying,\u201d he added in Korean, per Weverse\u2019s English translation. \u201cPlease look forward to it.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tFans have known for some time that new BTS music was in the works, with the boy band reuniting <\/a>on camera in July after taking about two years apart while fulfilling South Korean military requirements. At the time, the members revealed that they not only had a new album planned for 2026, but a world tour as well. <\/p>\n

\n\tIn October, RM gave more details about the timeline of his band\u2019s official return. \u201cWe have to keep preparing for the album \u2014 we\u2019ll shoot the album photos and film the music video,\u201d he said at W Korea\u2019s Love Your W event in Seoul. \u201cPlease look forward to late March.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tThough there\u2019s no doubt the Bangtan Boys can do it, topping their last musical era will be no small task. RM and his bandmates became global phenoms in 2020 when they scored three No. 1 hits on the Billboard Hot 100<\/a> that year alone, with album Be and 2022 compilation album Proof both peaking atop the Billboard 200<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\n\tBut, as RM pointed out while delivering the keynote speech<\/a> at this year\u2019s APEC CEO Summit in South Korea, shattering expectations is exactly what BTS is known for. \u201cBTS first started to go outside Korea about 10 years ago,\u201d he said at the event. \u201cAt that time, the music of BTS was quickly called \u2018non-English, foreign culture.\u2019 Trying to get on mainstream media through our music was like doing an experiment and a huge challenge. It was a test to see if \u2018music in Korean can work on the global stage.’\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cWe overcame those barriers,\u201d RM continued at the time. \u201cARMY was the force that broke down those barriers. They use our music as the medium to carry out conversations that cross borders and languages.\u201d<\/p>\n
