TV personality Jack Osbourne may find his time on I’m A Celebrity\u2026 Get Me Out Of Here! acts as “therapy” for him, singer Peter Andre has suggested.<\/p>\n

Andre, who appeared on the third series of the show in 2004, said contestants have a lot of “downtime” between filming, which gives them plenty of opportunity to reflect.<\/p>\n

Andre told ITV\u2019s Good Morning Britain (GMB) on Friday: “I probably think that\u2019s why someone like Jack Osbourne doing it is a good thing for him.<\/p>\n

“I mean, I don\u2019t know his reasons for doing it, but it probably could be a bit of therapy for him.<\/p>\n

“Because it is just you, you\u2019re in the wilderness. Yes, you\u2019re surrounded by people, but there\u2019s a lot of downtime, a lot of time that you\u2019re on your own.<\/p>\n

“And even though there\u2019s cameras everywhere, you can\u2019t see them. They\u2019re hidden, they\u2019re camouflaged.”<\/p>\n

He added: “The cameramen \u2013 you can\u2019t talk to them, they won\u2019t answer you.”<\/p>\n

“It brings a lot out of you. You\u2019re just you, and there\u2019s no phones.”<\/p>\n

Osbourne, whose father, Black Sabbath frontman Ozzy Osbourne, died earlier this year,<\/a> has said he was going into the jungle to take his mind off things.<\/p>\n

He said his mother Sharon and sister Kelly would be “supportive” of him taking part.<\/p>\n

Andre, who famously met his now ex-wife Katie Price on the ITV show, said the hunger he and other contestants felt was the “real deal”.<\/p>\n

He explained: “Well, there\u2019s only probably about three \u2013 maybe 400 people in the world that have experienced this. It\u2019s an incredible experience.<\/p>\n

“There\u2019s certain smells and sounds that you only know if you\u2019ve experienced it.<\/p>\n

“Hunger is one of those things that I had never experienced before, and for anyone that hasn\u2019t experienced it, you genuinely get it there. It\u2019s the real deal.”<\/p>\n

He said he would advise new contestants against eating lots of food before entering the jungle.<\/p>\n

Andre went on: “The dreaded thing which I always tell them never to do, is to keep eating so much before you go in.<\/p>\n

“Because you think well, ‘I\u2019m not going to eat, so I may as well stock up\u2019. But the problem is then your body goes into shock. So it\u2019s actually better to get your body used to it.”<\/p>\n

Osbourne will be joined in the Australian jungle by Spandau Ballet star Martin Kemp, model Kelly Brook, former England Lionesses footballer Alex Scott and comedian Ruby Wax.<\/p>\n

The line-up is completed by rapper Aitch, real name Harrison Armstrong, social media star Morgan Burtwistle, who is known as Angryginge, EastEnders\u2019 Shona McCarty, comedian Eddie Kadi, and Emmerdale\u2019s Lisa Riley.<\/p>\n

Regular presenters Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly will return to host the show in its 25th anniversary year.<\/p>\n

Last year\u2019s series was won by McFly singer Danny Jones.<\/p>\n

I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here! starts Sunday, 16 November on Virgin Media Play and Virgin Media One.<\/p>\n
