A beloved chocolate shop is set to make its return to a Galway<\/a> shopping<\/a> centre after closing many years ago.<\/p>\n Leonidas Chocolate will be making a comeback having closed in 2022.<\/p>\n A sign was spotted in Corbett Court Shopping Centre announcing that it would be reopening.<\/p>\n The sign reads: “We’re back.<\/p>\n “Doors opening soon.”<\/p>\n There is no confirmed date for when it will return.<\/p>\n In November of 2022, they announced that they would be closing their doors.<\/p>\n Posting on social media at the time, they said: “Sadly and with heavy hearts….we have decided to close the Galway shop, as stocks are depleted, in the coming week.<\/p>\n “A massive THANK YOU to our many regular and valued customers for your support over the years.<\/p>\n “We wish you all the very best for the future.<\/p>\n “In grateful appreciation,<\/p>\n “The Leonidas Galway Team.”<\/p>\n In unrelated news, an urgent product recall has been issued for several batches of a popular brownie treat over concerns about potential “mould growth and spoilage”.<\/p>\n The Food Safety Authority of Ireland (FSAI) is strongly urging consumers not to eat the affected product<\/a>.<\/p>\n The recall affects specific batches<\/a> of Booja-Booja Chocolate Wonders Fudgie Brownie Organic.<\/p>\n This product is available in various shops throughout Ireland<\/a>, including Holland and Barrett where it sells for \u20ac3.49.<\/p>\n In a statement released today, the FSAI said: “The below batches of Booja-Booja Chocolate Wonders Fudgie Brownie Organic are being recalled due to possible mould growth and spoilage.<\/p>\n “Recall notices will be displayed at point-of-sale.<\/p>\n “Retailers are requested to remove the implicated batches from sale and display recall notices at point-of-sale.<\/p>\n “Wholesalers\/distributors are requested to contact their affected customers and recall the implicated batches and provide a point-of-sale recall notice to their retailer customers.”<\/p>\n Galway Beo\u2019s top stories and breaking news service on WhatsApp.<\/p>\n![\"Leonidas](\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ie\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/1_f92d05d9-006b-493b-950c-6167dc49eb53.jpg\")
