A couple on TikTok spent good money putting new sod into their backyard. Once it was all finished, it looked great. They went to bed satisfied \u2014 and they woke up shocked and confused.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe thought the new lawn was finally ready for its close-up\u2026 until THIS started happening,\u201d the couple wrote on their TikTok, P and C Adventures. \u201cEvery morning \u2014 flipped. Torn. Moved. Like a little green crime scene.\u201d<\/p>\n

The first time it happened, they fixed it up, hoping it was a one-time occurrence. Unfortunately, it wasn\u2019t.<\/p>\n

\u201cSomething\u2019s out there with a personal vendetta against our sod,\u201d P and C Adventures wrote.<\/p>\n

The couple was so perplexed. Was it a skunk? A dog? A person? Who on earth could be doing this?<\/p>\n

Determined to solve the mystery, the couple decided to set up cameras to finally catch the culprit in action. After weeks of wondering what was going on, they checked the cameras the next morning and finally got their answer.<\/p>\n

\u201cMystery solved \u2014 and it\u2019s not what we expected,\u201d P and C Adventures wrote. “We thought it was the next door neighbor who hated the tree.”<\/p>\n

It turns out the culprit wasn\u2019t a person at all, but a mischievous neighborhood raccoon. The raccoon was likely looking for food underneath the grass and was grateful to the couple for putting down sod that was so easy to pull up and flip over.<\/p>\n

\u201cJust out here doing raccoon things,\u201d P and C Adventures wrote.<\/p>\n

While the situation wasn\u2019t ideal, the couple was glad to know that the culprit was a raccoon just trying to live his best life. They\u2019ll do their best to coexist with him, and hopefully find a way to have a nice-looking yard despite their sneaky raccoon neighbor.<\/p>\n
