{"id":141766,"date":"2025-11-15T20:29:07","date_gmt":"2025-11-15T20:29:07","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ie\/141766\/"},"modified":"2025-11-15T20:29:07","modified_gmt":"2025-11-15T20:29:07","slug":"match-factory-launches-sales-on-teenage-sex-and-death-at-camp-miasma","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ie\/141766\/","title":{"rendered":"Match Factory Launches Sales on &#8216;Teenage Sex And Death at Camp Miasma&#8217;"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\t<a href=\"https:\/\/variety.com\/t\/the-match-factory\/\" id=\"auto-tag_the-match-factory\" data-tag=\"the-match-factory\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">The Match Factory<\/a> has launched sales at <a href=\"https:\/\/variety.com\/t\/afm\/\" id=\"auto-tag_afm\" data-tag=\"afm\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">AFM<\/a> on <a href=\"https:\/\/variety.com\/t\/jane-schoenbrun\/\" id=\"auto-tag_jane-schoenbrun\" data-tag=\"jane-schoenbrun\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Jane Schoenbrun<\/a>\u2018s slasher movie \u201cTeenage Sex and Death at Camp Miasma,\u201d which stars \u201cHacks\u201d actress <a href=\"https:\/\/variety.com\/t\/hannah-einbinder\/\" id=\"auto-tag_hannah-einbinder\" data-tag=\"hannah-einbinder\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Hannah Einbinder<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/variety.com\/t\/gillian-anderson\/\" id=\"auto-tag_gillian-anderson\" data-tag=\"gillian-anderson\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Gillian Anderson<\/a>, at the AFM in Los Angeles. <\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\tThe film, which Brad Pitt, Dede Gardner and Jeremy Kleiner\u2019s Plan B is producing, is now in post-production and the Match Factory is sharing a first promo with buyers.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\tMubi is financing the film and will distribute in select territories, including North America, Latin America, U.K., Ireland, Germany, Austria, Benelux, Italy, Spain, Turkey, India, Australia and New Zealand, with the Match Factory handling remaining worldwide sales. Daniel Bekerman\u2019s Scythia Films will provide local production services. <\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\tThe film centers on the production of a reboot of the infamous \u201cCamp Miasma\u201d slasher franchise. When the latest movie\u2019s director becomes obsessed with the mysterious, reclusive actress who played the \u201cfinal girl\u201d in the original film, a whole new kind of slasher emerges from the bottom of the lake.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\tSchoenbrun\u2019s work as a director includes \u201cI Saw the TV Glow,\u201d \u201cWe\u2019re All Going to the World\u2019s Fair,\u201d and the experimental documentary \u201cA Self-Induced Hallucination.\u201d \u201cI Saw the TV Glow\u201d was nominated for six Independent Spirit Awards including best picture, screenplay and director, and it was nominated for three Gotham Awards. They are set to write, direct and executive produce the graphic novel \u201cBlack Hole\u201d as a series for Netflix with Plan B and New Regency.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\tEinbinder is best known for her role as Ava in the Emmy Award-winning HBO comedy series \u201cHacks.\u201d Her performance earned an Emmy Award, Critics\u2019 Choice Award, and three Golden Globe nominations.
