Storm Claudia have us cancelling plans and swapping our night on the town for a night on the sofa, so: just what will we watch?<\/p>\n

Luckily, there are plenty of great TV shows around at the moment, and our to-watch list was getting pretty long, so we’re taking this rainy weekend<\/a> as a good opportunity to catch up.<\/p>\n

If you’ve already binged House of Guinness and Nobody Wants This, here are a few other options to put on the TV…<\/p>\n

The Beast in Me<\/p>\n

Where? Netflix<\/p>\n

The Beast In Me is fronted by Claire Danes, who plays Aggie Wiggs, a grieving mother whose neighbour Nile Jarvis (Matthew Rhys) is a real estate mogul suspected of murdering his first wife.<\/p>\n

There are plenty of twists in the series’ eight episodes, and if the plot sounds a little similar<\/a>, chances are you might be a true crime fan. <\/p>\n

Trespasses<\/p>\n

Where? Channel 4<\/p>\n

Based on Co Down author Louise Kennedy’s bestselling novel of the same name, four-part drama Trespasses has been hailed as one of the best series of 2025<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Trespasses is a forbidden love story, set against the backdrop of the Troubles, with a star cast including Lola Petticrew (Say Nothing), Tom Cullen (My Son), and Lisa Dwyer Hogg (The Fall), to name a few.<\/p>\n

The Iris Affair<\/p>\n

Where? Sky Atlantic<\/p>\n

Sky describes The Iris Affair as a ‘tense and cinematic chase thriller that pits two brilliant minds against each other in a deadly game of hide and seek across Italy’ – count us in!<\/p>\n

Even better, the show is fronted by Irish actress Niamh Algar<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Caroline Flack: The Search for the Truth<\/p>\n

Where? Disney+<\/p>\n

If you’re in the mood for a documentary, Caroline Flack: The Search for the Truth is well worth a watch and is a timely reminder of the importance of being kind.<\/p>\n

The two-part show is fronted by Caroline’s mother Christine<\/a>, with appearances from the late TV host’s manager and friend Mollie. <\/p>\n

All Her Fault<\/p>\n

Where? Sky Atlantic \/ NOW TV<\/p>\n

All Her Fault sees Succession star Sarah Snook play a young mother<\/a> called Marissa whose world falls apart when her young son Milo disappears in bizarre circumstances.<\/p>\n

If the name seems familiar, that might be because the series is an adaptation of Irish crime writer Andrea Mara’s book All Her Fault.<\/p>\n

The Diplomat <\/p>\n

Where? Netflix<\/p>\n

There are lots of great political thrillers around, and The Diplomat on Netflix is well worth a watch, especially as there’s now a new season to binge.<\/p>\n

Even better, season three features something of a West Wing reunion<\/a>. We love to see it!<\/p>\n

Stranger Things<\/p>\n

Where? Netflix<\/p>\n

It won’t be long now until we have the new series of Stranger Things<\/a>, so why not remind yourself of everything that has happened so far and rewatch the show?<\/p>\n

The first batch of four new episodes will drop on November 26, with volume II’s three episodes set for release on Christmas Day.
