A 32-day aged Irish Angus striploin, produced by Dawn Meats has been named as the World\u2019s Best Steak at the World Steak Challenge 2025.<\/p>\n
The steak was also named Europe\u2019s Best Steak and the World\u2019s Best Grass-Fed Sirloin.<\/p>\n
In addition to winning the overall global title, Dawn Meats also won the award for the World\u2019s Best Grass-Fed Ribeye for its Premier Butcher Ribeye Wagyu Cross steak.<\/p>\n
The County Waterford company which was founded in 1980 has grown to a business with over \u20ac3 billion in annual revenue, employing over 8,000 staff in ten countries.<\/p>\n
In total, Dawn Meats was awarded 10 gold, 4 silver and 3 bronze medals in addition to its four wins in the overall categories \u2013 World\u2019s Best Steak, Europe\u2019s Best Steak, World\u2019s Best Grass-Fed Sirloin and World\u2019s Best Grass-Fed Ribeye. It was also the only Irish company to win awards in the overall world\u2019s best categories.<\/p>\n
The Challenge, now in its 11th\u00a0edition, recognises the best quality meat across the globe.<\/p>\n
The announcement of the overall winners was made at an award ceremony at Smith & Wollensky in London on Monday, November 10th\u00a0following a two-day judging process and the announcement of medal winners in September at an event in Vlees & Co steakhouse in Amsterdam.<\/p>\n
