We\u2019ve watched (almost!) all of them and we\u2019ve sorted the good from the bad to bring you 8 tremendous shows that are absolutely worth your time this week.<\/p>\n

Detective drama fans have a lot to be grateful for as an exciting new detective duo is coming our way in Channel 5\u2019s outstanding new drama Cooper and Fry<\/a>. In fact, it\u2019s a bumper week for Channel 5 as we\u2019re also being gifted with Big Winners<\/a>, which is a bit like The Syndicate (remember that?) but funnier. And that\u2019s just for starters. <\/p>\n

Forget the endless searching, because these are the only shows you need to watch this week on Netflix, ITV, the BBC and more. <\/p>\n

Cooper and Fry \"cooper<\/p>\n

Channel 5<\/p>\n

This superb new series is based on the bestselling Stephen Booth novels and will please detective dramas fans everywhere. The four-parter introduces us to young, mismatched detectives Ben Cooper (Downton Abbey<\/a>‘s Robert James-Collier), an affable local cop, and guarded newcomer Diane Fry (Mandip Gill). Their task? To investigate a series of strange deaths in the mystery-shrouded Peak District. And while they might not immediately seem like a match made in heaven, an unlikely partnership forms, which could even blossom into friendship. Arriving on Channel 5 at 8pm on Tuesday 18th November. <\/p>\n

The Death of Bunny Munro\"matt<\/p>\n

If you feel like you haven\u2019t seen The Crown\u2019s Matt Smith on your screen in a while, he\u2019s making up for it with this adaptation of Nick Cave’s 2009 novel of the same name. Covering themes of death, grief, self-destructive behaviour, the series is centered around self-professed lothario Bunny Munro (Smith), who finds himself saddled with a young son and a somewhat loose concept of parenting. A moving portrait of the relationship between father and son. Arriving on Sky and NOW on Thursday 20th November. <\/p>\n

Play for Today: Big Winners\"cast<\/p>\n

How would your life change if you suddenly won \u00a314 million? That’s the scenario at the heart of Channel 5<\/a>‘s latest drama, which follows a couple, played by Last Tango in Halifax\u2019s Paul Copley and Downton Abbey<\/a>\u2019s Sue Johnston, in the aftermath of a huge lottery windfall. So far, they\u2019ve lived a fairly modest existence, but all changes when their numbers come up on the lottery. While Arthur dreams of a life of luxury, picturing champagne, cruises and golf clubs, Edith has very different plans – namely, to get a divorce\u2026 and things get rather messy! Think of it like The Syndicate, but funnier. Arriving on Channel 5 at 9pm on Thursday 20th November. <\/p>\n

Changing Ends\"changing<\/p>\n

If you\u2019re still mourning the end of Celebrity Traitors (no shame here), things are looking up because Alan Carr is returning to our screens. His semi-autobiographical comedy is back for a third instalment and it\u2019s now the summer of 1989 when Alan (Oliver Savell) is entering a new era as a fully-fledged teenager. As Alan struggles to find his place in the world, he\u2019s also got a crush to navigate, sleepovers, swimming lessons and nights out with the boys. A show that\u2019ll put a smile on your face. Arriving on ITV1 on Sunday 22nd November. <\/p>\n

Sara Cox: Every Step of the Way for Children in Need\"sara<\/p>\n

Sara Cox isn\u2019t scared of a challenge and she\u2019s proved it with her \u2018Great Northern Marathon Challenge\u2019 to raise funds for BBC Children in Need. The presenter has covered 135 miles on foot across four countries \u2013 running, jogging and walking, with the support of villages, towns and Radio 2 listeners along the way. This one-off episode takes audiences on her journey, which is nothing short of extraordinary. Arriving on BBC One and BBC iPlayer at 8pm on Wednesday 19th November. <\/p>\n

I\u2019m a Celebrity\u2026 Get Me Out of Here!\"from<\/p>\n

Martin Kemp, Alex Scott and Jack Osbourne are among the celebrities entering the jungle for the show\u2019s landmark 25th series. It’s also bringing with it a major rule change as individual contestants can no longer be voted to do every bushtucker trial for several days in a row. To be more specific, they can do \u201ctwo in a row and you miss a go\u201d \u2013 which means all of this year\u2019s campmates should get their moment to shine. Arriving on ITV1 at 9pm on Sunday 16th November.<\/p>\n

If you enjoy a mystery thriller<\/a>, Netflix is well and truly delivering the goods. An adaptation of bestselling author Javier Castillo\u2019s latest novel, The Crystal Cuckoo follows Cora Merlo, a young doctor who receives a new heart following a life threatening heart attack. And while Cora is grateful for her new heart, she\u2019s left with a thought she can\u2019t get out of her head: who did the heart belong to in the first place? Her search for its origins leads her to a small town full of secrets and intrigue \u2013 and Cora soon becomes embroiled in a decades-old mystery related to the disappearance of a baby. The White Lotus\u2019s Aimee Lou Wood is giving us more reason to love her with a second series of this hilarious comedy drama in which pregnant party girl Gemma (Lou Wood) and her recently divorced father (David Morrissey) end up in a flat-share. The pair are grappling with the new addition to the family, Gemma\u2019s daughter, baby Sadie. Thankfully, Gemma can turn to best friend Cherry (Taj Atwal) for advice as well as sister Catherine (Sharon Rooney) and boss Rita (Sarah Hadland) \u2013 but a surprise visitor is about to make her to face her future. Arriving on Friday 21st November on BBC One, BBC Three and BBC iPlayer.<\/p>\n
