Alita: Battle Angel 2 <\/p>\n
Speaking with Empire<\/a>, James Cameron stated he has \u201csworn a blood oath\u201d with Robert Rodriguez \u201cto do at least one more\u201d Alita: Battle Angel movie and \u201cis making progress on that.\u201d<\/p>\n I appreciate the loyalty of the Alita fans. Robert Rodriguez and I have sworn a blood oath to do at least one more Alita movie. In fact, we\u2019re thinking of an architecture that bridges to a third film, but we\u2019ll be satisfied if we can make one more. And we\u2019re making progress on that. Now that I have a home in Austin, Texas, about three miles from [Rodriguez\u2019s] place, I think we\u2019ll probably get more serious about that as soon as I wrap the mix here in a few weeks.<\/p>\n Scary Movie 6 <\/p>\n In another recent interview with Variety<\/a>, Regina Hall revealed she\u2019s read the script for Scary Movie 6 and \u201cit was really funny.\u201d<\/p>\n I read the script \u2014 and it was really funny. I knew what they were intending to do. I always think a work of art is in flux until it\u2019s done and in someone\u2019s hands \u2014 you just never know. The original cast coming back was exciting. Having the Wayans involved again, and Anna Faris too \u2014 Brenda can\u2019t live without Cindy. And she\u2019s no better a friend to Cindy this time than she was before, even though they\u2019re still best friends. I think the nostalgia and timing just made it feel right. It was a good time to do something so broad and fun. So the reason she\u2019s back is because it feels like it\u2019s very personal. She brings edginess and lightness\u2014Daredevil can be very dark and dramatic, and she cuts through the BS in a really fun way.<\/p>\n The War Between the Land and the Sea <\/p>\n Finally, Russell T. Davies told Empire<\/a> he wanted to show the BBC what the Doctor Who universe is \u201ccapable of\u201d with The War Between the Land and the Sea.\u00a0<\/p>\n I wanted to show the BBC what this universe is capable of, and the potential that it has, and the punch that it can deliver.
