Eddie Murphy shared details from an unexpected encounter he had early in his career. In Netflix\u2019s documentary Being Eddie, the 64-year-old comedian describes an incident from the night he turned 21. The comedian recalled running into Hollywood icon Yul Brynner and his wife during the celebration at New York\u2019s Studio 54.<\/p>\n
Murphy said, \u201cYul Brynner, \u2018Ten Commandments,\u2019 he was with his wife and he was like, \u2018How would you like to go back to my apartment with my wife and I and party?\u2019 And I was like, \u2018Nah, I\u2019m cool!\u2019\u201d Years later, he recalled noticing Brynner\u2019s wife smiling during the exchange, leading him to question what the couple had actually planned. He noted, \u201cAnd I realized as I got older, his wife was smiling. Did he want me to go f**k \u00a0his wife?\u201d (via Fox News<\/a>)<\/p>\n Murphy joked that the incident could have ended a lot differently if he had accepted the offer.
