(WDEF) \u2014 Bradley County first responders were able to safely resolve a mental health crisis Monday.<\/p>\n<p>It happened at a home in Northeast Bradley County near Urbane Road.<\/p>\n<p>The situation escalated after paramedics and firefighters on a medical call say the subject became combative.<\/p>\n<p>When Bradley County Sheriff\u2019s Office deputies arrived, the initial first responders had left the home due to the actions of the man they were trying to help.<\/p>\n<p>A brief search for the man was conducted in the nearby neighborhood with help from the Cleveland Police Department.<\/p>\n<p>The man returned to his home and a BCSO drone was used to drop a cell phone so that a member of the Bradley County Sheriff\u2019s Office Crisis Negotiation Team could speak with the man.<\/p>\n<p>During negotiations the man fired shots at the drones. He eventually surrendered and was taken to the hospital.<\/p>\n<p>This is an ongoing investigation, and criminal charges will be decided at the conclusion of the investigation.\t<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"MGN BRADLEY COUNTY, Tenn.
