Photo: Max Cody<\/p>\n<p class=\"indo-ebe0ecc6_root indo-ebe0ecc6_paragraph indo-300db776_none indo-91174671_primary indo-1d70522a_marginbottom0 indo-1d70522a_margintop0 indo-b48c4984_inherit\" style=\"color:var(--color-primary-80)\">Laytown beach was transformed into an eerie and unexpected scene over the weekend as hundreds, possibly thousands of starfish were washed ashore in the aftermath of the recent storm.<\/p>\n<p class=\"indo-ebe0ecc6_root indo-ebe0ecc6_paragraph indo-300db776_none indo-91174671_primary indo-1d70522a_marginbottom0 indo-1d70522a_margintop0 indo-b48c4984_inherit\" style=\"color:var(--color-primary-80)\">Local walker Max Cody, who came across the scene late on Sunday morning, said he had \u201cnever seen anything like it before.\u201d Max began his walk at around 11.45am near the slipway beside Laytown\u2019s public toilets and quickly realised something unusual was happening.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Starfish on Laytown Beach.
