{"id":148415,"date":"2025-11-19T14:35:08","date_gmt":"2025-11-19T14:35:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ie\/148415\/"},"modified":"2025-11-19T14:35:08","modified_gmt":"2025-11-19T14:35:08","slug":"brookfield-launches-100-billion-ai-infrastructure-program-with-nvidia-and-kuwaits-sovereign-wealth-fund-as-investors-and-founding-partners","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ie\/148415\/","title":{"rendered":"Brookfield launches $100 billion AI infrastructure program with Nvidia and Kuwait\u2019s sovereign wealth fund as investors and founding partners"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"css-14ve0pc\">Brookfield is <a href=\"https:\/\/www.globenewswire.com\/news-release\/2025\/11\/19\/3190798\/0\/en\/Brookfield-Launches-100-Billion-AI-Infrastructure-Program.html\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"css-uubm0\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">launching<\/a> an Artificial Intelligence Infrastructure Fund with the goal of buying up to $100 billion in (as the name suggests) AI infrastructure assets \u201cacross every stage of the value chain \u2014 from energy and land to data centers and compute.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"css-14ve0pc\">The fund hopes to raise $10 billion in equity, and has already received $5 billion in capital commitments from the parent company, <a class=\"inline-stock css-1iix00n\" href=\"https:\/\/robinhood.com\/stocks\/nvda?source=sherwood\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Nvidia<\/a>, and the Kuwait Investment Authority (the nation\u2019s sovereign wealth fund).<\/p>\n<p class=\"css-14ve0pc\">\u201cBAIIF will prioritize investments backed by highly creditworthy counterparties and contracted cash flows,\u201d per the press release.<\/p>\n<p class=\"css-14ve0pc\">The four areas of physical infrastructure the fund will focus on are:<\/p>\n<p class=\"css-14ve0pc\">AI factories primarily built on Nvidia\u2019s DSX Vera Rubin-ready reference design;<\/p>\n<p class=\"css-14ve0pc\">Dedicated behind-the-meter power solutions (that is, power generation installed on-site rather than drawing from the grid);<\/p>\n<p class=\"css-14ve0pc\">Compute infrastructure including integrated solutions tailored for governments and leading global enterprises (read: Nvidia GPUs as part of a bundled full-stack offering provided by Brookfield);
