Kacey Musgraves<\/a> put an ethereal spin on the pantsless trend at the ARIA Awards in Sydney, Australia on Wednesday. She walked the red carpet in a bedazzled sculptural corset, along with the tiniest pair of lacy bloomers.<\/p>\n

The country singer’s look came from Georges Hobeika’s<\/a> fall 2025 couture line. She added on a pair of pearl and Anton Heunis crystal chandelier earrings, completing her look with wraparound Rene Caovilla sandals.<\/p>\n

Musgraves wore her dark tresses in a voluminous half-updo, while her glam consisted of shimmery eyeshadow, pops of rosy blush, and a pale pink glossy lip.<\/p>\n

One woman’s beauty blunder is another woman’s inspiration \u2014 at least such is the case for\u00a0Musgraves\u00a0and her legion of loyal fans. Last year<\/a>, the Grammy winner might have inadvertently started a new trend after suffering a minor wardrobe malfunction during the closing credits of\u00a0Saturday Night Live.\u00a0<\/p>\n

In a clip shared to X by NBC Universal, Musgraves can be seen standing beside the show’s host for the evening,\u00a0Sydney Sweeney<\/a>, before giving the actress a celebratory hug as the show ended. But as she turned to the side, a creaseless light blue clip was still visible in Musgraves’s hair (likely from when she got her makeup touched up backstage).<\/p>\n

One person shared a photo of Sweeney and Musgraves going in for their hug on X, writing, “I just want someone to look at me the way Sydney Sweeney looks at Kacey Musgraves.” Musgraves commented back, hilariously pointing out her hair mishap, “The clip. I forgot to remove the clip.”<\/p>\n

However, it seemed as if most fans didn’t notice, and if they did, they celebrated her accidental beauty move, with one assuring Musgraves: “Well at least it matches your dress!!” Meanwhile, another wrote, “An accidental fashion choice I eat up though.”<\/p>\n
