{"id":150451,"date":"2025-11-20T16:49:07","date_gmt":"2025-11-20T16:49:07","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ie\/150451\/"},"modified":"2025-11-20T16:49:07","modified_gmt":"2025-11-20T16:49:07","slug":"joshua-allen-charged-with-dangerous-driving-in-cork","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ie\/150451\/","title":{"rendered":"Joshua Allen charged with dangerous driving in Cork"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"\">Joshua Allen, the 26-year-old son of celebrity chef Rachel Allen, has been charged with dangerous driving.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">Mr Allen, with an address at Ballinamona, Shanagarry, Co Cork, faces a single count of dangerous driving. The alleged offence is contrary to Section 53 of the Road Traffic Act.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">Mr Allen is charged with driving in such a manner, considering speed and other factors, as to be a danger to himself and the public.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">A certificate of arrest, charge and caution was submitted to Midleton District Court in Co Cork this morning.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">The alleged offence occurred in the townland of Monagunna on the R629 in Shanagarry, Co Cork, on October 27.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">Court presenter Sgt Majella O\u2019Sullivan applied to adjourn the case until next year to allow time for the investigating garda to prepare a file. The file will be sent to the DPP for instructions.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">Defence solicitor Don Ryan said his client consented to the adjournment.
