The current facilities there are archaic and out of date. Every day of delay impacts individuals and families who are relying on improved mental health supports.<\/p>\n<p class=\"indo-ebe0ecc6_root indo-ebe0ecc6_paragraph indo-300db776_none indo-91174671_primary indo-1d70522a_marginbottom5 indo-1d70522a_margintop0 indo-b48c4984_inherit\" style=\"color:var(--color-primary-80)\">&#8220;The HSE must prioritise this development and push it forward without further hesitation,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n<p class=\"indo-ebe0ecc6_root indo-ebe0ecc6_paragraph indo-300db776_none indo-91174671_primary indo-1d70522a_marginbottom5 indo-1d70522a_margintop0 indo-b48c4984_inherit\" style=\"color:var(--color-primary-80)\">Deputy O\u2019Shea stressed that the region urgently needs enhanced mental health capacity to meet rising demand and ensure patients receive care in safe, modern, fit-for-purpose facilities. \u201cMental health care must be given the same urgency as every other area of our health system. I am calling on the HSE to move this project to the next phase immediately and to provide a clear, time-bound plan for delivery.
