Lisa McHugh is set to sit down with Patrick Kielty to speak about her life-changing health diagnosis on the Late Late Show on Friday as she joins this week’s line-up.<\/p>\n

The country singer, 37, revealed in July that she’d been diagnosed with Functional Neurological Disorder<\/a> (FND), a condition that affects the way the brain and nervous system work, and left her struggling to walk and in pain.<\/p>\n

The mother-of-two, to son Milo, aged three, and daughter Hallie, one, will share what it was like to receive the diagnosis and how she took a break from music this summer to focus on getting better.<\/p>\n

The musician will reveal what’s next for her as she plans her triumphant return to the stage at the end of the year, after making huge strides in her recovery<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, Thursday Murder Club author Richard Osman<\/a> will be on the couch to chat about his success as an author and the adaptation of his book into a film, which is now available to watch on Netflix.<\/p>\n

Tune in to hear the novelist and television presenter recall the moment he met his future wife on the set of House of Games, as well as a story about his near brush with MI6 during his university days – interesting!\u00a0<\/p>\n

The audience is in for plenty of laughs as two comedians will be making an appearance, with Cork comedian Kyla Cobbler<\/a> making her Late Late debut, along with Northern Irish-Italian comedian Vittorio Angelone.<\/p>\n

Kyla, whose real name is Mikayla O’Connor, gained internet fame with her short clips on social media and went on to become a stand-up comedy sensation. <\/p>\n

She will talk about the joys and trials of touring, why doing a marathon was a huge mistake and how she met her fianc\u00e9 while performing on stage.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Vittorio, who is known for his podcast Mike & Vittorio’s Guide to Parenting, a laugh-out-loud podcast by two comedians who are not parents and barely mention children at all, will also be on the show. <\/p>\n

He will chat about growing up in an Italian Irish family in Belfast and training as a classical musician before getting into comedy.\u00a0<\/p>\n

For the music, we will be treated to a sneak peek of Moulin Rouge! The Musical from the cast of the show as it arrives in the Bord G\u00e1is Energy Theatre this week<\/a>.<\/p>\n

And finally, with two weeks to go to the Late Late Toy Show, viewers at home will discover if they’ve secured tickets to be part of the live studio audience\u00a0on Friday, 5 December in the BIG BIG Ticket\u00a0Giveaway!<\/p>\n
