Arne Slot<\/a> has revealed that neither Conor Bradley<\/a> nor Florian Wirtz<\/a> will be available for Liverpool against Nottingham Forest<\/a>, and beyond, after their international exploits.<\/p>\n

Liverpool\u2019s injury list had started to dwindle, but the November international break has dealt a blow ahead of an intense run of seven games in 22 days across all competitions. <\/p>\n

With Slot only expected to deliver positive news on Alisson<\/a>\u2018s availability, he instead delivered an unwanted injury update for Bradley and Wirtz, who both returned from the break with muscle injuries.<\/p>\n

Conor Bradley and Florian Wirtz injury update<\/p>\n

Speaking in his pre-match press conference on the eve of Forest\u2019s visit, Slot told reporters: \u201cWe do have some issues after the international break. <\/p>\n

\u201cConor Bradley<\/a> is not able to play and Florian Wirtz<\/a> is unable to play. That\u2019s far from ideal.\u201d<\/p>\n

On their issues, he explained: \u201cBoth are muscle issues. I don\u2019t expect Conor to be part of the upcoming 22 days, maybe at the end, unless a miracle happens, which I don\u2019t expect.<\/p>\n

\u201cFlorian shouldn\u2019t be that long.\u201d<\/p>\n

With Jeremie Frimpong<\/a> still unavailable for the next few weeks with a hamstring injury, it leaves Slot needing to find a solution at right-back.<\/p>\n

The head coach conceded that players will \u201chave to play in positions they usually don\u2019t,\u201d as he name-checked Dominik Szoboszlai<\/a>, Curtis Jones<\/a> and Joe Gomez<\/a> as possible candidates. <\/p>\n

The latter missed training on Thursday but is expected to be involved in Friday\u2019s session, underlining that he cannot play successive games without a break. <\/p>\n

\u201cWe have five defenders available for seven games in 22 days, and I don\u2019t see anyone coming back before that,\u201d Slot added.<\/p>\n

Alisson fit to return vs. Nottingham Forest<\/p>\n

The good news, though, is that Alisson<\/a> is fit to return to the starting lineup after a seven-week absence with a hamstring injury.<\/p>\n

He has trained as normal since last week and barring any issue arising on Friday will be fit to start at Anfield.<\/p>\n

Slot confirmed: \u201cAlisson<\/a> trained last week and this week, so he will be able to play tomorrow if things work out well again today (Friday).\u201d<\/p>\n
