Gogglebox<\/a> favourites Lee Riley and Jenny Newby<\/a> have faced criticism from fans over their latest antics away from the cameras.<\/p>\n

The duo joined the popular Channel 4<\/a> programme in 2014 and quickly became beloved by audiences. Throughout the years, the Hull-based friends – who have known each other for over 25 years – have left countless viewers in hysterics with their witty remarks.<\/p>\n

Beyond the long-standing show, Lee and Jenny frequently share glimpses of their daily adventures through their shared Instagram<\/a> profile, which boasts an impressive 869k followers.<\/p>\n

On Thursday (September 11), the pair returned with a video showing them travelling in a vehicle, reports the Manchester Evening News<\/a>.<\/p>\n

But the footage sparked backlash from some supporters who were swift to criticise their conduct. The clip featured Jenny behind the wheel whilst a “petrified” Lee occupied the passenger seat.<\/p>\n

Expressing his worries, Lee remarked: “This is the most terrifying thing I am in now.” Jenny responded: “What do you mean? I am alright.” Lee then announced: “She’s not, I tell you now” before yelling that there was a vehicle ahead of them, alerting Jenny: “There’s a car, there’s a car.”<\/p>\n

Jenny maintained that the vehicle was “pulling out” and it wasn’t her responsibility, leading to continued squabbling with Lee.<\/p>\n

Eventually, he informed viewers “never again with Jenny”, whilst cautioning her about the kerbs. The pair wrote alongside the post: “Never EVER EVER again.”<\/p>\n

While many of Lee and Jenny’s followers found the clip amusing, others were less than impressed, criticising their behaviour while driving.<\/p>\n

One disgruntled viewer vented in the comments section: “Lee you’re going to cause a serious crash for distracting the driver”. Another chimed in: “It’s ok having a laugh but being an idiot could cause an accident.” A third warned: “The way you’re acting, you’re gonna make a crash.”<\/p>\n

However, other followers were tickled by their banter. One fan wrote: “A breath of sunshine laugh.” Another enthused: “These guys make me laugh brilliant.”<\/p>\n
