Boeuf Steak-Burger Bar<\/p>\n
A new restaurant offering steak, burgers, and bottomless chicken wings is opening in the former location of the iconic Luigi Malones<\/a> in Temple Bar<\/a>.<\/p>\n The restaurant taking over the premises is popular steak eatery Boeuf<\/a>, with their Boeuf Steak-Burger Bar concept. Located at 5 Cecilia Street, the burger bar is opening from November 27, and it has started taking online bookings.<\/p>\n This is Boeufs fifth location in Dublin<\/a>, with restaurants on Suffolk Street, South William Street, Crow Street and The Plaza on Blanchardstown’s Main Street. The new Boeuf Burger will play host of a set menu for \u20ac26.95, with a bottomless chicken wings platter to start, followed by a delicious burger of your choosing.<\/p>\n Burger choices include beef, surf and turf, striploin steak and chicken. And after paying, a complimentary scoop of gelato will see you out the door.<\/p>\n The premises was the previous home of Italian classic Luigi Malones, which shuttered this summer after 28 years in business. Announcing their closure, they said that roadworks around the premises was the \u201cstraw that broke the camel\u2019s back\u201d for them.<\/p>\n \u201cThere is also a sense of deep frustration as we have been effectively barricaded into our own premises for the last three months as the street is being dug up and rebuilt all around us,\u201d the statement said.<\/p>\n \u201cAs a result, our turnover has plummeted in that period, and this was the straw that broke the camel\u2019s back, leading to the consequential financial loss which makes it impossible to trade on without inflicting damage on all stakeholders. This is something we are determined to avoid. We are very appreciative of the support and loyalty of our management and staff through what has been a difficult and frustrating time for them also.<\/p>\n \u201cDespite their best efforts, we were all fighting an uphill battle when our restaurant was so inaccessible. We know streets must be repaired, but this project which we were told would take one month, took over three.<\/p>\n \u201cWe have of course been affected also by the gradual but general decline in trade in Dublin City Centre, for various reasons known to the industry at large, compounded by the inflationary pressures that have made it impossible for our operation to trade at a profit.
