Pic: Stephen McCarthy\/Sportsfile<\/p>\n<p>As for how they celebrated, Jennifer revealed: \u2018He came back to the hotel, we were staying in the one the team were staying in, and we just went down the road and we got KFC and came back to the hotel and just sat there until half 11 just talking about what happened.\u2019<\/p>\n<p>Pretty low key, considering how impressive the goals were and the giddy chaos they inspired across the nation!<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1200\" height=\"700\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ie\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/fam2.jpg\" alt=\"Troy Parrott's mum and granny on the Late Late Show. Pic: Late Late \/ Instagram<\/p>\n<p>As for how Josie\u2019s week has been, Patrick said she was a star in her own right and had <a href=\"https:\/\/evoke.ie\/2025\/11\/17\/entertainment\/troy-parrott-granny\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/evoke.ie\/2025\/11\/17\/entertainment\/troy-parrott-granny\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">made it on the news<\/a>. Josie laughed, telling Patrick: \u2018I went pub crawling, got loads of free drinks!\u2019<\/p>\n<p>She continued to explain that she was in Murray&#8217;s for Troy\u2019s first goal and missed the second as she was on her way to another pub. <\/p>\n<p>While in the third, she saw her grandson score for the third time and got a free pint. <\/p>\n<p>After the game, Josie headed to another pub where she: \u2018Got given a bottle of champagne and little bottles of wine and because I don\u2019t drink that he gave me a Heineken.\u2019 Clearly, Troy isn\u2019t the only legend in his family!<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"500\" height=\"700\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ie\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/josie.jpg\" alt=\"Troy Parrott's granny on the Late Late Show.
