\n\tOK, this is definitely what dreams are made of. Hilary Duff<\/a> has announced that after more than a decade, she\u2019s finally coming back with a new album titled Luck\u2026or Something.<\/p>\n

\n\tAs revealed Friday (Nov. 21), the singer-actress\u2019 first full-length since 2015\u2019s Breath In. Breathe Out. is set to drop Feb. 20. \u201cI am often asked how I still have my head on straight after growing up in this industry,\u201d she said in a statement about the project. \u201cThe album title is my way of answering that question.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cIt\u2019s luck, but there\u2019s also a lot of weight in the \u2018\u2026 or something,’\u201d she continued. \u201cMany of the things I\u2019ve been through along the way are held there, and I feel like ultimately that\u2019s what\u2019s shaped me.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tLuck\u2026or Something will be Duff\u2019s sixth studio album. She dropped her first LP in 2002, starting off with holiday album Santa Claus Lane. The next year, she followed it up with Metamorphosis, which reached No. 1 on the Billboard 200<\/a> \u2014 a feat she outdid in 2005 with her two-week chart-topping compilation Most Wanted.<\/p>\n

\n\tOn the cover of her new album, the Lizzie McGuire alum lies on a carpeted floor in a simple magenta sweater and sheer stockings, gazing up at the ceiling. The Luck\u2026or Something tracklist will feature comeback single<\/a> \u201cMature,\u201d which Duff cowrote with her husband, producer Matthew Koma, and released on Nov. 6.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201c\u2018Mature\u2019 is a little conversation that my present self is having with my younger self,\u201d the performer said of her song at the time it dropped. \u201cThe two of us are reflecting on a past experience and sending love to each other. It\u2019s a chuckle, a wink and a sense of being grateful that we are sure footed in where we landed.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tDuff has been gearing up for a full-fledged musical comeback since September, when she signed a new label deal <\/a>with Atlantic Records. She also has a docuseries tracking her return to music in the works.<\/p>\n

\n\tJust ahead of Luck\u2026or Something\u2018s release, Duff will embark on an intimate run<\/a> of performances kicking off Jan. 19, featuring stops at London\u2019s O2 Shepherd\u2019s Bush Empire, HISTORY in Toronto, the new Brooklyn Paramount theater and the Wiltern in Los Angeles.<\/p>\n
