\n\tIn much the same way that Oasis<\/a> spent more than a decade and a half swearing that they would never play together again, now it seems like they can\u2019t wait to go back out on the road for another run. The group wrapped up their massive Live \u201925 reunion tour in Brazil on Sunday (Nov. 23) after playing 41 sold-out shows on five continents.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe first gigs in 16 years from formerly battling brothers singer Liam Gallagher<\/a> and guitarist\/songwriter Noel Gallagher were rapturously received<\/a> and left fans begging for more. So it\u2019s been a bit of a roller-coaster ride trying to figure out if there actually are additional shows in the offing. While the band has not officially announced any 2026 plans, Liam has been dropping Easter eggs that have begged more questions than they\u2019ve answered.<\/p>\n

\n\tEarlier this month he wrote \u201cI know things you don\u2019t<\/a>\u201d on X after earlier teasing that \u201cit\u2019s not even half time yet<\/a>,\u201d before admitting that there was a \u201cfew tuts and raised eyebrows\u201d when he\u2019d earlier told fans that he would see them next year. And then he was more succinct when a commenter asked for just one word on a potential 2026 tour: \u201cNo,\u201d he answered.<\/p>\n

\n\tThat definitive shutdown seemed to be confirmed on Tuesday (Nov. 25) when the band posted a series of pics from the tour with the message \u201cthere will now be a pause for a period of reflection<\/a>.\u201d <\/p>\n

\n\tAnd then Liam eased the door open a bit, again.<\/p>\n

\n\tResponding to a number of X comments pressing him on when Oasis will tour again and if the first swing\u2019s rigid setlist might loosen up the next time around, Liam spread a little holiday joy with another seeming hint of what\u2019s to come. \u201cThere\u2019s loads more classics we need to play for you when we go out again I mean happy Christmas,\u201d Gallagher wrote on Tuesday<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\n\tWhen one of them proposed an alternate setlist with some of the favorites that were missing the first time around, Gallagher gave a thumbs up to a few of the ideas<\/a>, writing, \u201cDefo doing \u2018Hindu Times\u2019 \u2018Colombia\u2019 and \u2018Go let it out\u2019 I mean happy Christmas,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe hits kept coming, as a fan speculated that they felt like \u201ca new album is coming and you\u2019re just hiding it really well.\u201d Liam wasn\u2019t quite as jovial about that one, responding<\/a>, \u201cIt\u2019s not I honestly do t see the point it won\u2019t be as good as the old stuff im quite happy singing the old stuff I\u2019m not 1 of those WANKERS that need to keep pushing it forward or sideways or backwards in some cases NOSTALGIA forever.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tIn case you missed his point, he added, \u201cNew music is for WANKERS.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tSo, to recap: absolutely no new music, a definitely maybe setlist shakeup and more dates for sure, unless not. <\/p>\n
