<\/p>\nEver since he arrived in the I\u2019m A Celebrity camp, Aitch has made one thing clear – that there\u2019s nothing in this world more important to him than family, especially his twin sisters, Gracie and Hattie Armstrong. <\/p>\n
While he might have found fame and fortune in the music industry, Aitch has revealed to his campmates that he does it all for his sisters. Opening up about his siblings, he revealed in the Bush Telegraph \u201cMy baby girls, my two sisters, everything I do is for them. Bottom line, I\u2019m on this show for them. I make music for them. I try to make a living for them, because they\u2019re my girls.\u201d<\/p>\n
Gracie and Hattie are non-identical twins who, at 16, are 10 years younger than their devoted big brother. He has often credited them as the reason he\u2019s remained level-headed during his time in the public eye, and admitted that his close bond with the pair has had a huge impact on his music over the years – especially Gracie, who has Down syndrome. <\/p>\n
A person with Down syndrome has an extra chromosome, which alters the course of their development – and Aitch says he is pleased he can use his platform as a way to raise awareness for the condition.<\/p>\n
Aitch, whose real name is Harrison Armstrong, even has a tattoo tribute to Gracie, which reads \u2018Harrison, don\u2019t be afraid\u2019 in her handwriting – something that his sister says to him regularly. <\/p>\n

She actually teaches you lessons and you don\u2019t even realise until afterwards.\u201d<\/p>\n Aitch has opened up in camp to Eddie about the close bond he has with his sisters, particularly Gracie. Talking about how Gracie was born with Down Syndrome, he explained how she loved watching Ellie Goldstein on Strictly Come Dancing, telling him when Ellie came on screen: \u201cShe\u2019s one of God\u2019s special children like me.\u201d<\/p>\n Eddie applauded the fact Aitch was using his platform to raise awareness for Down Syndrome and Aitch went on to share some advice, explaining: \u201cIt\u2019s not even about how you handle it, it\u2019s about how you view it. They\u2019re the best people in the world. Obviously everyone would say this about their siblings, but forget that she is my sister, she is the sickest person I\u2019ve ever met. <\/p>\n \u201cI\u2019ve heard different stories over the years of how kids with Down Syndrome get treated, and it just makes me feel sick.\u201d<\/p>\n The Manchester-born rapper also revealed he climbed Kilimanjaro earlier this year, which took him seven days to scale the full mountain. Aitch has raised over \u00a3160,000 over the years for Down syndrome charities from the climb and also a skydive that he did in 2023. <\/p>\n Aitch opened up to his campmates about how he has also made a documentary that follows his Kilimanjaro climb and which he hopes will raise more awareness when it airs at a later date. When talking about the climb in camp, he admitted: \u201cIt was absolutely freezing!\u201d Which song did Aitch write about Gracie? <\/p>\n The Brit Award-winning rapper has worked with some of the biggest names in the music industry, but it was in August 2022 that he opened his heart, writing a song all about his bond with Gracie. The single, which he recorded with music superstar Ed Sheeran, was called ‘My G’ and all the profits from the song went to the Down Syndrome Association<\/a>. <\/p>\n ITV<\/p>\n Related: I’m a Celeb fans “fuming” as first campmate is voted out: “Wrong decision!”<\/a><\/p>\n The video for the single is made up of home videos showing Aitch with his sisters, especially Gracie, who takes a starring role in the song that her big brother wrote especially for her. <\/p>\n The song lyrics read: \u201cBaby, live your best life, you shouldn\u2019t grow by force. All in your own time, G, the globe is yours.\u201d<\/p>\n Aitch is an ambassador for the Down Syndrome Association and, before heading into the camp, he opened up about Gracie, admitting that he intended to use the prime-time show to raise awareness for the charity. At the time he said: \u201cI feel like I have got this calling to raise awareness for Down syndrome and I feel like the jungle is the perfect place. My sister Gracie loves the show, she will be sitting there cheering me on every time she sees me on the telly.\u201d <\/p>\n He also admitted he was doing the show to help the families of people with Down syndrome too. \u201cI don\u2019t want Down syndrome to be seen as a negative thing. I don\u2019t want anyone to go \u2018Oh yeah my kid\u2019s got Down syndrome, or my sister\u2019s got Down syndrome\u2019 and for the reply to be \u2018Oh, I\u2019m sorry to hear that\u2019.
