The original anime’s story centers on four train-loving college students who are members of the Tetsud\u014d Ryok\u014d D\u014dk\u014d-kai (“Tetsuryo” in short, or literally Railway Travel Club). They journey throughout the world where hundreds of Tetsud\u014d Musume work. <\/p>\n

The anime will premiere in 2026.<\/p>\n

TOMYTEC<\/a>\u00a0is credited for the original work in collaboration with\u00a0I’ve Been Killing Slimes for 300 Years and Maxed Out My Level<\/a>\u00a0novel writer\u00a0Kisetsu Morita<\/a>.\u00a0Misuzu Hoshino<\/a>\u00a0(Laid-Back Camp<\/a>\u00a0episode director,\u00a0Hokkaido Gals Are Super Adorable!<\/a>,\u00a0The\u00a0Maid I Hired Recently Is Mysterious\u00a0director) is directing the anime at\u00a0East Fish Studio<\/a>.\u00a0Aya Satsuki<\/a>\u00a0(Solo Camping for Two<\/a>,\u00a0“Ippon” Again!<\/a>,\u00a0Too Cute Crisis<\/a>) is overseeing and writing the series scripts, and\u00a0Hisanori Hashimoto<\/a>\u00a0(Laid-Back Camp\u00a0season 3) is designing the characters.<\/p>\n

The Tetsud\u014d Musume characters “work” in railway companies and railway-related businesses all over Japan, wearing real uniforms and work clothes. As of May 2025, there are 114 Tetsud\u014d Musume all over Japan. Tetsud\u014d Musume launched in 2005, and is celebrating its 20th anniversary this year. \u00a0<\/p>\n
