{"id":168228,"date":"2025-11-30T21:58:08","date_gmt":"2025-11-30T21:58:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ie\/168228\/"},"modified":"2025-11-30T21:58:08","modified_gmt":"2025-11-30T21:58:08","slug":"woman-in-toxic-relationship-put-under-pressure-to-steal-diesel-from-limerick-premises","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ie\/168228\/","title":{"rendered":"Woman in \u2018toxic relationship\u2019 \u2018put under pressure\u2019 to steal diesel from Limerick premises"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A WOMAN who admitted stealing diesel from a service station on the outskirts of Limerick city\u00a0was convicted and fined \u20ac300 when appeared before <a href=\"https:\/\/www.limerickleader.ie\/section\/463\/crime-court\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">Limerick District Court<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Sharon Hickey &#8211; who has an address in Mullingar, County Westmeath &#8211; pleaded guilty to stealing \u20ac36\u00a0worth of diesel from Circle K on the Ballysimon Road on June 28, 2021.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>After his client admitted the offence, Solicitor Tom Kiely said she was put under duress when the incident took place.
