{"id":169070,"date":"2025-12-01T10:55:09","date_gmt":"2025-12-01T10:55:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ie\/169070\/"},"modified":"2025-12-01T10:55:09","modified_gmt":"2025-12-01T10:55:09","slug":"accenture-dubs-800000-staff-reinventors-amid-shift-to-ai-business","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ie\/169070\/","title":{"rendered":"Accenture dubs 800,000 staff \u2018reinventors\u2019 amid shift to AI | Business"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"dcr-130mj7b\">Accenture has reportedly begun calling its 800,000 employees \u201creinventors\u201d, as the consultancy tries to position itself as a leader in artificial intelligence.<\/p>\n<p class=\"dcr-130mj7b\">The consultancy\u2019s chief executive, Julie Sweet, has already started referring to staff by the new label and the business is now pushing for the term to be used more widely, the Financial Times reported, citing people at the company.<\/p>\n<p class=\"dcr-130mj7b\">The \u201creinventor\u201d label came from a reorganisation across Accenture in June, which merged its strategy, consulting, creative, technology and operations divisions into a single unit called \u201cReinvention Services\u201d.<\/p>\n<p class=\"dcr-130mj7b\">The new tag for the consultants is the latest in a long list of unusual jargon that big businesses have foisted on their staff; some tech workers are referred to as \u201cninjas\u201d, \u201cgrowth hackers\u201d and \u201cevangelists\u201d.<\/p>\n<p class=\"dcr-130mj7b\">Curious job titles are also popular in the media and entertainment industries, including at Walt Disney, where technical experts who design and build its theme parks are referred to as \u201cimagineers\u201d.<\/p>\n<p class=\"dcr-130mj7b\">The \u201creinventor\u201d push from Accenture comes as it moves to sharpen its focus on its AI capabilities.
