Directors Radio Silence are back for more grisly games in sequel Ready or Not: Here I Come, and PEOPLE<\/a> has shared the very first images from the upcoming horror movie.<\/p>\n

Ready or Not: Here I Come\u00a0opens in theaters April 10, 2026!<\/p>\n

Matt Bettinelli-Olpin\u00a0and\u00a0Tyler Gillett tell PEOPLE that Ready or Not 2 \u201cgoes hand in hand with the first in an unexpected yet seamless way.\u201d The directors continue, \u201cIt\u2019s exciting to see Grace get into a new fucked-up situation that deepens her story and her character, and we wanted to make sure that this movie wasn\u2019t just more of the same.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe put a ton of love into this movie to make it a worthy sequel that we\u2019re hoping fans of the first movie \u2014 and people who are getting to know Grace for the first time \u2014 will really love.\u201d<\/p>\n

Samara Weaving teases that the sequel is \u201cso unhinged, absolutely cooked. Those sicko writers came up with a way in that\u2019s somehow both a natural progression and very surprising.\u201d<\/p>\n

Samara Weaving\u00a0is back, starring in\u00a0Ready or Not 2\u00a0alongside\u00a0Kathryn Newton\u00a0(Abigail),\u00a0Sarah Michelle Gellar\u00a0(\u201cDexter: Original Sin\u201d),\u00a0Shawn Hatosy\u00a0(\u201cThe Pitt\u201d),\u00a0N\u00e9stor Carbonell\u00a0(\u201cShogun\u201d),\u00a0Elijah Wood\u00a0(\u201cYellowjackets\u201d), and horror master\u00a0David Cronenberg!<\/p>\n

Kevin Durand\u00a0(Abigail) is also featured in the sequel\u2019s cast.<\/p>\n

Matt Bettinelli-Olpin\u00a0and\u00a0Tyler Gillett\u00a0are back to direct for Searchlight Pictures with a script by original\u00a0Ready or Not\u00a0writers\u00a0Guy Busick\u00a0and\u00a0R. Christopher Murphy.<\/p>\n

The first film in 2019 followed a young bride (Weaving) as she joined her new husband\u2019s rich, eccentric family in a time-honored tradition that turned into a lethal fight for survival.<\/p>\n
