\nRoad closures will be implemented in the vicinity of Government Buildings during the visit<\/p>\n
Garda\u00ed have warned the public of road closures and potential traffic disruption stemming from the visit of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky to Ireland.<\/p>\n
Mr Zelensky arrived at Dublin Airport last night alongside first lady Olena Zelenska.<\/p>\n
He is due hold a bilateral meeting with the Taoiseach and pay a courtesy call to President Catherine Connolly.<\/p>\n
As a result, members of the public travelling to Dublin Airport have been urged to allow additional time to arrive at the airport due to possible rolling road closures.<\/p>\n
Traffic restrictions will be in place on Chesterfield Avenue in the Phoenix Park from 10am until 1pm.<\/p>\n
There will also be restrictions on Kildare Street, Merrion Street, Merrion Square and in the vicinity of Government Buildings from 11am.<\/p>\n

Traffic restrictions will be in place on St Stephen’s Green South, St Stephen\u2019s Green East and Leeson Street from 3.30pm.<\/p>\n
Members of the public travelling in affected areas are advised to plan their journeys accordingly.<\/p>\n
Garda\u00ed also advised of localised road closures to facilitate events and temporary rolling road closures to facilitate security escorts, particularly in Dublin city centre.<\/p>\n
Garda\u00ed called on the public to heed the advice and instructions during the disruption.<\/p>\n
The impact of any traffic disruption is intended to be localised and minimal, garda\u00ed added.<\/p>\n
In a statement, garda\u00ed said the objective is to share as much information with the public, where necessary, as soon as they are in a position to do so.<\/p>\n
