Multiple small Dublin businesses were targeted by break-ins in the early hours of Tuesday morning.<\/p>\n
The Loading Bay in Tallaght<\/a> was broken into at 2:47am on Tuesday. Posting CCTV footage of the incident online, the takeaway wrote: “Last night someone broke into Loading Bay. We\u2019re a small family business and this has put us in a really tough situation.<\/p>\n “We\u2019re offering a reward for any information that helps \u2013 everything will be kept 100% confidential. Please message us directly if you know anything.”<\/p>\n Garda\u00ed confirmed they responded to an incident of burglary at approximately 2:50am on Tuesday, 2nd of December 2025 at a business premises in Tallaght. They said “investigations are ongoing”.<\/p>\n The Goats Gruff, a drive thru coffee and sandwich takeaway in Strawberry Beds, also confirmed they were broken into at 3:40am on Tuesday morning. They said in a social media post: “Honestly lads, breaking into small family businesses?<\/p>\n “Absolutely pathetic. Luckily nobody was hurt and we have the area well covered with CCTV. There\u2019s a lot of footage so far, and I think a lot more will come forward.”<\/p>\n Nans Chinese restaurant on Stephen Street Lower had their broken glass door shattered and the inside of their restaurant ransacked in the early hours of Tuesday morning. They said online: “Last night around 3\u20134 AM, Nan Chinese experienced a violent break-in.<\/p>\n “Our front glass door was shattered and the interior was left in chaos. With the holiday season approaching, we want to remind everyone to stay extra vigilant, especially in Dublin<\/a> city centre.<\/p>\n “We always believed that being in Dublin 2 meant a safer area, but this incident showed otherwise. We\u2019re deeply grateful to the Irish Garda\u00ed for arriving quickly and assisting with the investigation. We\u2019re already working hard to clean up, restore the space, and come back stronger \u2014 ready to welcome you all again with a refreshed spirit. Stay safe, everyone.”<\/p>\n A garda<\/a> spokesperson said: “Garda\u00ed responded to an incident of burglary that occurred at approximately 4:45am on Tuesday, 2nd of December 2025 at a business premises on Stephen Street, Dublin 2. Investigations are ongoing.”<\/p>\n Smash burger joint The Rolling Stoves in Clongriffin were targeted at 3:15am on Tuesday morning. Posting CCTV footage online, they said: “Hello Dublin. We were robbed last night & we have now become bounty hunters.<\/p>\n “\u20ac1000 reward per name of the lads in this video. We are a very small independent business, and robbing our truck is taking money from our kids mouth. Justice will be served and all replies will be strictly confidential.”<\/p>\n A garda spokesperson said: “Garda\u00ed responded to an incident of burglary that occurred at approximately 2:50am on Tuesday, 2nd of December 2025 at a business premises in the Clongriffin area of Co.
