{"id":175647,"date":"2025-12-05T00:14:07","date_gmt":"2025-12-05T00:14:07","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ie\/175647\/"},"modified":"2025-12-05T00:14:07","modified_gmt":"2025-12-05T00:14:07","slug":"developers-challenge-to-approval-for-dart-line-extension-to-drogheda-close-to-resolution-the-irish-times","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ie\/175647\/","title":{"rendered":"Developer\u2019s challenge to approval for Dart line extension to Drogheda close to resolution \u2013 The Irish Times"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"c-paragraph paywall \">A company controlled by developer <a href=\"https:\/\/www.irishtimes.com\/tags\/sean-reilly\/\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.irishtimes.com\/tags\/sean-reilly\/\">Sean Reilly<\/a> is set to resolve its High Court action over a grant of planning permission for an extension to the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.irishtimes.com\/tags\/dart\/\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.irishtimes.com\/tags\/dart\/\">Dart <\/a>line, the court has heard. <\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph paywall \">Alcove Ireland Three Ltd, part of Mr Reilly\u2019s McGarrell Reilly property development group, filed proceedings in October seeking to quash An Coimisi\u00fan Plean\u00e1la\u2019s decision to grant permission for Dart+ Coastal North, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.irishtimes.com\/tags\/cie\/\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.irishtimes.com\/tags\/cie\/\">Coras Iompar \u00c9ireann\u2019s (CI\u00c9) <\/a>plan to extend the train line from Malahide to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.irishtimes.com\/tags\/drogheda\/\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.irishtimes.com\/tags\/drogheda\/\">Drogheda<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph paywall \">Alcove Ireland Three, with offices at Pembroke Row, Dublin 2, is the owner of about 14 hectares of land located close to Rush and Lusk station in north Co Dublin.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph paywall \">As part of the plans for Dart+ Coastal North, CI\u00c9 proposes to acquire sections of these lands, some permanently and others temporarily.
