The project expands on the brand\u2019s earlier Cais do Sodr\u00e9 space by positioning pizza-making as the primary spatial and visual driver. The restaurant\u2019s fully open <a href=\"https:\/\/www.designboom.com\/tag\/facades\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">facade<\/a> exposes the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.designboom.com\/interiors\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">interior<\/a> directly to the street, treating the preparation process as a continuous, public-facing activity.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>XXXI.studio\u2019s strategy prioritizes preservation and adaptability. Seating is limited, with stainless steel tables and stools positioned along the exterior edge to maintain a direct visual and spatial connection between staff and visitors.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The full-height opening on the street front reinforces <a href=\"https:\/\/xxxi.studio\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">the studio\u2019s<\/a> principle of maximizing openness. By removing conventional signage and dissolving the boundary between interior and exterior, the space stands out among its commercial neighbors and presents the culinary process as the central element of the experience.
