Clare man was found ‘completely out of his mind’ and naked high on magic mushrooms, court hears<\/a><\/p>\n\u00a0A spokesperson for Bus \u00c9ireann confirmed an anti-social behaviour incident occurred on Expressway Route 13\u00a0 (Limerick-Tralee).\u00a0<\/p>\n
It occurred at around 4pm on November 11.\u00a0<\/p>\n
\u201cThis incident has been referred to An Garda S\u00edoch\u00e1na who attended the scene, and Bus \u00c9ireann are providing assistance as required, including making CCTV available to garda\u00ed,\u201d said a\u00a0 spokesperson.<\/p>\n
Bus \u00c9ireann does not tolerate anti-social behaviour towards our customers or staff, said the spokesperson.\u00a0 The exact nature of what occurred is not known.<\/p>\n
\u201cAs this matter is currently subject to a garda\u00ed investigation, we are not in a position to provide any additional information on this specific incident,\u201d said the spokesperson, who concluded by saying the \u201csafety of our passengers and staff is of paramount importance to Bus \u00c9ireann\u201d.<\/p>\n

In June, SIPTU\u00a0 wrote to Bus \u00c9ireann management over\u00a0 what the union described as increasing incidents of anti-social behaviour on one of its Limerick services – Route 303.\u00a0<\/p>\n
SIPTU said members have reported windows on buses being broken by youths throwing stones, workers being subjected to verbal abuse and threats of violence.<\/p>\n
Last January, the Leader revealed that private\u00a0 security drivers started to escort evening bus services in a city estate to protect drivers and passengers from serious violence.<\/p>\n
