\n\tMiley Cyrus<\/a> is giving an encouraging update on Dolly Parton<\/a>\u2018s health.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe 33-year-old pop star spoke about her godmother\u2019s recent health challenges while attending the Avatar<\/a>: Fire and Ash premiere in Los Angeles on Monday (Dec. 1).<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cShe\u2019s always gonna keep the show going,\u201d Cyrus told Entertainment Tonight<\/a>. \u201cThe show must go on. She\u2019s just excited to get back to work.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tIn late September, the 79-year-old country music icon announced she was postponing her Las Vegas concert residency<\/a> at the Colosseum at Caesars Palace due to undisclosed medical procedures. The residency, originally set to start in December, is now scheduled to begin in 2026.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe following month, Parton addressed her health publicly<\/a> after rumors about her condition began circulating online.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cI don\u2019t think God is through with me and I ain\u2019t done workin\u2019,\u201d the Country Music Hall of Famer Dolly Parton said in a video on Oct. 8.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cI wanted you to know that I\u2019m not dying,\u201d she added. \u201cThere\u2019s just a lot of rumors flyin\u2019 around and I figured if you heard it from me, you\u2019d know that I was OK.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tParton and Cyrus share a long-standing bond as both friends and collaborators. In 2024, genealogy-tracking website Ancestry.com revealed they are distantly related<\/a>. Parton also appeared as \u201cAunt Dolly\u201d on Disney Channel\u2019s Hannah Montana, and the duo collaborated on a reimagined duet of Cyrus\u2019 hit \u201cWrecking Ball\u201d for Parton\u2019s 2023 album, Rockstar.<\/p>\n

\n\tMeanwhile, Cyrus \u2014 who recently confirmed her engagement<\/a> to musician Maxx Morando \u2014 contributed the song \u201cDream as One\u201d to the Avatar sequel. At Monday\u2019s premiere, she attended with her fianc\u00e9, showing off a sparkling gold band on her left ring finger.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe couple\u2019s engagement comes four years after they started dating in 2021. The former Hannah Montana star was previously married to Liam Hemsworth.<\/p>\n
