{"id":181245,"date":"2025-12-08T15:33:13","date_gmt":"2025-12-08T15:33:13","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ie\/181245\/"},"modified":"2025-12-08T15:33:13","modified_gmt":"2025-12-08T15:33:13","slug":"owners-of-west-kerry-nursing-home-announce-it-will-reopen-in-new-year","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ie\/181245\/","title":{"rendered":"Owners of West Kerry nursing home announce it will reopen in new year"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The owners of a West Kerry nursing home have announced it will reopen in the new year.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.radiokerry.ie\/news\/ocean-view-nursing-home\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Ocean View Care Home<\/a> in Camp was acquired by Riada Care Ltd in March.<\/p>\n<p>In August the facility was closed for electrical upgrades and building works, with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.radiokerry.ie\/news\/owners-of-west-kerry-nursing-home-say-relocation-of-residents-is-temporary-measure-446164\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">residents temporarily relocated<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>A statement from Riada Care says it is committed to Ocean View and it looks forward to opening the doors to residents and staff in 2026.<\/p>\n<p>The company is recruiting for roles across all departments and levels of experience &#8211; including in nursing, health care assistants, catering, admin and maintenance.<\/p>\n<p>A recruitment and residents&#8217; day is being held at the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.therosehotel.com\/?gad_source=1&amp;gad_campaignid=361406364&amp;gclid=EAIaIQobChMIltmWsKqmkQMVDKNQBh0W5S5sEAAYASAAEgJHpfD_BwE\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Rose Hotel<\/a> Tralee on December 12th from 1 until 6pm.<\/p>\n<p>Minister of State Michael Healy-Rae and Deputy Michael Cahill have welcomed the news that Ocean View Care home will reopen in 2026.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"The owners of a West Kerry nursing home have announced it will reopen in the new year.
